Garlic Planting Workshop

Join NEST for a hands-on fall planting event led by our very own garden coordinator and volunteer, Mohammad Amil.

Mohammad brings his ancestral knowledge of planting and his background as a biology major to guide us in learning why garlic is one of the most important crops to plant in the fall.

Garlic planted in the fall grows strong roots over the winter and flourishes in the spring. It’s a crop that symbolizes resilience, patience, and community care.

This day isn’t just about garlic—it’s about coming together in community to learn, share, and grow side by side.
