The Traditions Continues!

In 1987, La Casa Bienvenida established the proud tradition of selecting a Waterbury resident of Puerto Rican decent and designating the individual as Puerto Rican Mayor for the Day during the annual Flag Raising Ceremony at City Hall. The meaningful intent was done to recognize, celebrate, and honor the accomplishments and personal contributions made by Puerto Ricans to our beloved community.
