Every household has celebrations and memories to create – birthdays, graduations, promotions, etc. An easy way to add a level of ‘special’ to an event is to design and put together a dessert table of options.
And if you do it often enough, and get good at… well, others will start to pay you to do it (also great for fundraisers)!
Come join Jaxon and Aurora as we learn how to create 11 sets of easily made desserts that any student could make again for an upcoming event. Each student will choose a sprinkle mix, a mold, and two colors to dye their chocolate as we create each dessert together and then have a discussion on how to decorate them in similar but different ways.
Then, we will finish the class with age-appropriate activities that explore how much the desserts cost to make and how much could be charged for them as experience is gained.
Location: Menard Center Commercial Kitchen in Wasilla
Date: Friday September 12, 12:00pm-2:30pm
Cost: $110 (Could be $150 if want to keep a chocolate melting pot) - We are a DIRECT BILL vendor for Matsu Central, IDEA, Twindly Bridge, Raven, Cyberlynx and FOCUS.

• What will I learn?
o Students will learn how to use molds, chocolate, and dyes to design and decorate a dessert table with 11 sets of treats
o Students will learn about basic economic principles behind purchasing materials, making, and selling cute treats to others
• What will I take home?
o Students will take home 11 sets of treats (22 all together)
o Students will take home instructions on how to make all the treats again!
o Students have the option of taking home a new melting chocolate pot for an additional $40
