Write In the Gallery

Join us anytime during the day for some writing time in our art galleries, either in our Helen Wilson Gallery or Art Underground or with one of the pieces in our permanent collection throughout the library.

1. Bring a notebook or laptop.
2. Sign in at the front desk.
3. Choose a piece of art exhibited in one of our art galleries or in our permanent collection.
4. Ask for a chair.
5. Spend some inspired time writing about the piece.
6. Share your piece, if you like, with our community by turning it into the front desk.

Ekphrastic Writing: a literary description of or commentary on a visual work of art!
