Educational trips
Hello everyone, I am pleased to announce that Western Branch Tutoring, my private tutoring business, is considering an expansion into educational trips for the homeschool community.
To begin, I am planning a trip to DC, which would involve a six-day schedule, including a visit to the zoo and a day or two at the Smithsonian's. I am inclined to schedule this trip in September or early October 2025, thus avoiding peak tourist season. The trip will have a specific itinerary for each day, with time for individual family/group sightseeing.
As an alternative, I am exploring the possibility of partnering with a professional touring company, such as EF tours, which specializes in educational trips for students. This partnership would enable me to offer trips to historic Boston and other destinations nationwide.
I am considering flying or taking the train (Amtrak) to DC and utilizing public transportation to minimize liability concerns. I would appreciate your thoughts, parents, and invite interested families to express their interest.
