Join us for a service of music drawn from the time and place of the newly unveiled painting “Crucifixion” by Frans Francken the Younger, celebrating its generous donation to the parish.

This solemn vespers will feature works by Adrian Willaert, Philippe de Monte, Peter Philips, Orlando di Lasso, and Giovanni Rovetta, framed by instrumental canzonas of Giovanni Gabrieli — music that would have resonated in Flemish chapels and Venetian churches around 1630.

Performed by the renowned Choir of the Church of the Ascension & St. Agnes with period instruments.

All are welcome. Reception to follow in the parish hall.
