The day you've been waiting for is finally here! A new Swing 1: Intro to Lindy Hop series starts tonight. don't miss this opportunity to build your vocabulary, connection, and musicality.
We're also starting a new Swing 2: Charleston. One of the earliest partnered jazz dance sensations was the Charleston. Characterized by kicks and swinging legs, this dance can be done on its own or mixed into your Lindy Hop. This series will cover some basic and some fancy partnered Charleston. Completion of the Swing 1 series or equivalent is required to attend this class.
Last but not least, Special Topics is back with Everybody Leads, Everybody Follows! Do you only follow and want to lead? Do you only lead but want to follow? Do you do both, and wish there were a class where you could practice both? This class will take a deep dive into leading and following, with everybody dancing and learning both roles.
