Monthly Meet Up

Join us for our March Monthly Meet Up, a relaxed, in-person gathering at Lost & Found for Kiwanis members, friends, and prospective members to connect, catch up, and build community with people who care about making a positive impact in D.C.

This month, we’re excited to welcome Taylor VanDick, Development Manager at City Blossoms. Taylor grew up in Massachusetts, where she first developed a love of the outdoors while hiking through the vibrant colors of New England fall. She enjoys finding connections to home through nature and food, from apple picking in Massachusetts to gardening and foraging in the UK.

After earning her master’s degree in applied theatre, Taylor co-founded Ardent Earth Collective, creating arts-based workshops with communities in London that engaged participants in environmental education and activism through theatre and interdisciplinary arts. Now part of the City Blossoms team, Taylor is excited to deepen her knowledge of D.C.’s incredible community and green spaces while supporting work that connects youth to nature, food, and community through urban gardening.

Whether you’re new to Kiwanis or a longtime member, this Monthly Meet Up is an easy, welcoming way to get involved, learn more about local impact, and connect with others who share a commitment to service.
