The Daviess Community Hospital Cafeteria will serve up bold flavors and festive flair during its Mexican Fiesta Lunch on Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. as part of its monthly themed lunch series.
The menu, inspired by classic favorites, includes:
• Taco or burrito
• Corn and black beans
• Refried beans
• Churros
“This is another opportunity to bring people together for something fun, flavorful, and memorable,” said Rebecca Vest, CDM, CFPP, Food Service Director at DCH. “Our team loves creating themed experiences that go beyond a standard cafeteria lunch—we want to make lunchtime something people look forward to.”
Themed lunches are held monthly at DCH and are open to patients, staff, visitors, and members of the community. Following the success of the September Tropical Paradise Day lunch, which featured tropical mocktails and pineapple-topped chicken sandwiches, the hospital continues its commitment to providing joyful, creative dining experiences.
Upcoming Themed Lunches Include:
• Nov. 12 – Harvest Party: Grilled hotdogs or grilled brats, fries, s’mores, caramel apples
• Dec. 10 – Winter Wonderland:
Chili and grilled cheese, hot chocolate, apple cider, cookies—and possibly a visit from Santa with candy canes
