Kiazii Local Legend Lineup

The Kiazii Local Legend Lineup is a one of a kind open mic experience oragnized by the D.C based Kiazii Collective. This is the only open mic in hte city that places as much of an emphasis on fostering community as it does on providing artists with the opportunity to perform their music. At The Local Legend Lineup you're going to walk away with a new favorite artists and a strong feeling of comradery amongst the people around you.

Kiazii is a black owned record label based in Washington D.C with a specialization in rock, hip hop and r&b artistry. In addition, Kiazii is a label that focuses heavily on community development within the Washington D.C area. Through a mixture of free and paid programming Kiazii provides up-n-coming artists a non predatory environment to learn, cultivate and display their artistic abilities with the help of older artists in the area.

At Kiazii we champion the artists who teeter between confidence and arrogance in a world where, all too often, artists are programmed to remain humble and shrink their personality in order to advance their careers.

Info: Welcome to the Local Legend Lineup. Take a minute to get to know your peers and if you have any questions feel free to talk to your host for the afternoon, Zabero!!

Info: If you read the flyer then you know we have a few guests vendors for the afternoon. We have Brownie's Boutique (a Northwest based black-woman-owned pop up consignment shop featuring clothing, and shoes at an affordable price) and 8bundant Jewels ( a D.C based artisan creating 1 of 1 handcrafted jewelry pieces designed to fill you with an abundance of magic and confidence plenty). Take the first hour of our event to talk to our vendors, buy some new drip, meet some new friends and interact with the Kiazii community. (During this time those interested in performing on our open mic can find a slot on our sign up sheet.)
