A note from our featured musician at the Barrel House Cafe & Bar:

My music and playing live at the crossroads of jazz tradition and the timeless grooves of artists like Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and Bill Withers. I’m inspired by the way those artists write music that grooves, uplifts, and tells a story — and I aim to bring that same spirit into my drumming and bandleading. For me, it’s all about finding the balance between improvisation, groove, and song: honoring the freedom and spontaneity of jazz while embracing the soulful melodies and rhythms of popular music. The result is music that feels both rooted and contemporary, bridging the worlds of swing, funk, and R&B in a way that’s designed to connect with listeners on multiple levels.

This is a FREE event (starting October 21st followed by October 28th, November 4th and November 11th) and open to all of the public. Come for Tuesday Trivia nights followed up with some beautigul Jazz music with other feathured artisits.
