Extension a la Mode

Each October, Hoosiers come together for “The Crunch Heard ‘Round The State” to celebrate National Farm to School Month and National Apple Month. On a chosen date, school groups, community members, and businesses simultaneously bite into locally grown apples while learning about healthy eating, agriculture, and more. This Midwest-wide event reaches over a million participants annually.

Purdue Extension Daviess County is hosting a free event on October 31, 2025, in the Government Center from Noon-2PM. We are inviting all: community members, nonprofits and businesses to learn more about Extension programs offered in Daviess County; from health and wellness, agriculture, youth programs, community development and more while enjoying delicious apple treats and ice cream.
