Everyday Herbal Remedies

Learn the must have herbs to build your own at home first aid remedy kit. These plant allies can work wonders on some of the most common minor ailments of day to day life. In this class we will cover how to safely use plants for many inconveniences such as allergies, cold/flu, headaches, digestion issues, skin irritation, anxiety, small cysts, pink eye/styes, heart, brain and liver health, urinary tract, immune support, and more. You will leave this class with an understanding of how to incorporate herbal medicine into your daily life and share with the ones you love. Come solo or bring a friend for a fun afternoon of learning this ancient knowledge that's still beneficial and relevant today! Tea and light snacks will be served as well as handouts from the material covered in class.

Class will be led by Catherine Callocchia who spent her childhood working with plants at her family's nursery and orchard. She has been interested in herbal medicine for over 20 years and completed schooling in 2016 to become a Master Herbalist and Holistic Health Practitioner. Her joy is to share this knowledge with others and is dedicated to a life of teaching and learning.
