On April 9, the Dynamic Women Speaker Series invites you to gather for a warm, inspiring, and flavorful evening with renowned chef and author Anne Carpenter at Roux 66 in downtown Washington.
For more than 30 years, Anne Carpenter has taught thousands of students how to make the best soups in the world. She is the beloved founder of The Kitchen Conservatory and the author of You Had Me at Pie, with a newly released soup cookbook (Soup for You!) that celebrates both comfort and creativity in the kitchen.
During this intimate, hands-on evening, Anne will lead a live cooking demonstration, sharing recipes from her latest cookbook while also opening up about her personal journey—what inspired her to write cookbooks, build a successful culinary business, and follow her passion from dream to reality. Her story is a powerful reminder that it’s never too late to trust your instincts, take a leap, and create something meaningful.
This event is designed to encourage women to connect, be inspired, and leave feeling energized to pursue their own dreams—whatever form they may take.
