After two sold out shows in May, Dragoș returns to Washington, DC for a new Stand Up Comedy Show – Source of Sadness Tour and Crowd Work on Tuesday, September 23 starting at 8:00 pm. The event will take place at the Penn Social located at 801 E Street, NW in Washington, DC. Doors open at 7:30 pm.
Dragoș is one of the pioneers of the English-language comedy scene in Europe — a Romanian-born comedian whose sharp wit, fearless crowd work, and darkly hilarious takes on modern life have made him a favorite across the continent and beyond. After three hit stand-up specials — Hungry Hungry Dragon, Best Case Scenario, and The Schengen Special — Dragoș returns with Source of Sadness – a dark, inquisitive, and hilarious deep dive into the weirdness of the modern world.
He began his stand-up journey in Singapore and has since performed over 1,000 shows across 80+ European cities, becoming one of the most active touring comedians in the region. His comedy is a tribute to Eastern Europe and the international expat experience, blending dry observation with cultural insight, vulnerability, and absurdism.
