DC-AAPOR/WSS 2025 *Expanded* Review Preview Conference

NOTE: Upon arrival at the Gallup building, attendees will need to check in with the registration desk with a photo ID.

We know you can’t attend every conference, so DC-AAPOR and WSS are teaming up once again to bring you a sample of exemplary presentations  that have been or will be taking place at national and international conferences. 

In addition, for the 2025 conference we are welcoming new material that has not previously been presented at conferences. Conference cancellations and interruptions to conference attendance and presentation plans have been widespread during 2025, but your research is valuable and we want to hear from you!

At the 2025 Review Preview Conference, you will get the opportunity to share your work with local colleagues, hear what others are doing, and connect with colleagues in person. We will be seeking presenters who submitted abstracts to any of the following conferences in 2025:

• American Association for Public Opinion Research Conference
• Joint Statistical Meetings
• World Association for Public Opinion Research
• European Survey Research Association
• International Field Directors and Technologies Conference
• International Total Survey Error Workshop
• Federal Committee on Statistical Methodology
• Federal Computer Assisted Survey Information Collection (FedCASIC) Workshop
• International Conference on Establishment Surveys
• Data user group meetings or conferences, like the NCES Data Users Group or the Association of Public Data Users
• Any other statistics and survey methodology conferences or workshops

We also welcome new submissions that have not yet made it to another conference, or had to be removed from conferences. We especially encourage early career scholars to consider attending.  

Early bird registration ends August 29, 2025, after which prices increase. Registration ends September 12, 2025. No on-site registration will be available.

Registration is open to everyone, and presenters receive a discount. Registration prices are as follows:

Presenters:

• Students/Retirees - $25.00
• Federal Employees - $0.00
• DC-AAPOR Members - $65.00
• Non-members: $80.00

Early Bird (on or before August 29):

• Student/Retirees: $35.00
• Federal Employees: $35.00
• DC-AAPOR/WSS members: $75.00
• Non-members: $105.00

Late registration (August 30 - September 12):

• Student/Retirees: $45.00
• Federal Employees: $45.00
• DC-AAPOR/WSS members: $100.00
• Non-members: $130.00

Registration includes all-day access to the conference and an afternoon coffee break. Lunch is on your own and there are many options nearby. Following the conference, please join us for happy hour, location to be announced.
