Curiosity Day

What makes a good question? Why do we ask them, and how do they shape our world? Find out at Curiosity Day, a museum-wide celebration of inquiry and discovery.

Be among the first to experience the latest addition to the Words Matter gallery: the questions beacon. The interactive touchscreen display invites you to see how the way we phrase our questions can change conversations, uncover new ideas, and even sway outcomes, from everyday chit-chat to courtroom cross-examinations.

Curiosity Day Activities:
* Pop into a curator talk exploring the development of the questions beacon.
* Add your favorite question to a whiteboard in the lobby.
* Embark on a scavenger hunt that rewards curious minds.
* Step into the recording booth to share a question that changed your life.
* Discover how different languages form questions in a hands-on writing activity.
* Test your fact-checking skills in Can You Trust It?, a workshop developed with the News Literacy Project.

Curiosity Day activities are included with general admission. Walk-ups welcome.
