Chicken Processing Workshop

Are you new to homesteading or want to learn how to process your own chickens? Come to the Chicken Processing Workshop where staff will demonstrate the method used by Washington’s early settlers to prepare a chicken for cooking.

This free workshop will be held at the Sanders Barnyard. Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty.

Register by calling the park at 870-983-2684.

*The animal will be dispatched beforehand, but please consider that processing a chicken may be disturbing to some visitors.
