What to Expect
We’re thrilled to welcome you to BARI’s Pujo 2025 - BARI of New England’s second annual Durga Pujo celebration!
This year’s festivities will once again be held at the Rhode Island Hindu Temple, as we come together to honor Maa Durga!
Join us for a weekend of devotion, culture, and community. Immerse yourselves in nostalgic traditions, vibrant performances, and delicious food. Whether you’re joining for puja, cultural programs, or just to soak in the festive atmosphere, there’s something here for everyone.
Event Program Overview:
October 4th (Shashti and Saptami): The day begins with registration at 9:30 AM, followed by Bodhon at 10:30 AM. Puja Prasad and lunch will be served at 12:30 PM. The afternoon will feature cultural performances, and the day will end with an Evening Surprise Event that you won’t want to miss! Boxed dinners will be distributed afterwards.
October 5th (Ashtami, Nabami, and Dashami): Morning activities start with Ashtami Puja at 10:00 AM. Pushpanjali and Arati will be offered at 12:00 PM, with lunch at 12:30 PM. The afternoon continues with Nabami and Dashami Pujo, followed by a cultural program. The evening will feature Dhunuchi Naach, Debi Boron, and Sindur Khela, concluding with Bijoya!
