O organizatorach i artystach:
🎼 Igrce to młody warszawski zespół grający muzykę balfolkową. W swojej twórczości artyści inspirują się muzyką tradycyjną różnych kultur poszukując zróżnicowanych brzmień i tworząc własne aranżacje. W skład zespołu wchodzą: Marysia Jakubczyk (flety, śpiew, instrumenty perkusyjne), Ania Warchoł (skrzypce, lira korbowa, śpiew) oraz Mateusz Piotrowski (akordeon, bęben, śpiew).
Tym razem zespół wystąpi jako Igrce Duo w składzie Marysia Jakubczyk oraz Mateusz Piotrowski.
Pomysł założenia zespołu powstał podczas studiów Ani i Marysia w zakresie muzyki tradycyjnej na AM w Katowicach i stopniowo ukierunkował się na muzykę balfolkową. Daje ona muzykom wolność interpretacji i ogromną radość z grania do tańca, które to cechy napędzają zespół do rozwijania projektu.
Zespół miał już między innymi okazję wystąpić na Festiwalu Numinosum, festiwalu Balfolk.pl w ramach open stage oraz w Chacie Numinosum na Nocy Muzeów, Sylwestrze Tanecznym oraz w ramach festiwalu Otwarty Jazdów.

Let's dance together in the heart of Warsaw! We invite you to free workshops and a concert; everyone can dance 🎉
6:00 PM - Balfolk dance workshops. This week we will focus on processional dances, but we will also include the popular chapelloise, also known as the "belgijka," and the circle.
7:00 PM - Igrce concert
⚓️We meet on the Vistula Boulevards, by the Mermaid Monument, near the Copernicus Science Centre metro station.
About the organizers and artists:
🎼 Igrce is a young Warsaw-based band playing balfolk music. In their work, the artists are inspired by traditional music from various cultures, seeking diverse sounds and creating their own arrangements. The band consists of Marysia Jakubczyk (flutes, vocals, percussion), Ania Warchoł (violin, hurdy-gurdy, vocals), and Mateusz Piotrowski (accordion, drum, vocals).
This time, the band will perform as Igrce Duo, featuring Marysia Jakubczyk and Mateusz Piotrowski.
The idea to form the band arose during Ania and Marysia's studies in traditional music at the Academy of Music in Katowice and gradually shifted their focus to balfolk music. It gives the musicians freedom of interpretation and a great joy in playing for dancing, qualities that drive the band to develop the project.
The band has already performed at the Numinosum Festival, the Balfolk.pl festival as part of the open stage, and at Chata Numinosum during the Night of Museums, the New Year's Dance Eve, and the Open Jazdów festival, among others.
