Od 22 miesięcy Izrael dokonuje ludobójstwa w Strefie Gazy. Ponad 80 proc. ofiar to osoby cywilne, w tym większość - kobiety i dzieci. Trudno określić rzeczywistą liczbę zabitych. Policzonych, zapisanych z imienia i nazwiska jest ponad 60 tys., ale niektóre szacunki wskazują na 400 tys.
Izrael zamordował blisko 19 tys. dzieci, a kolejne tysiące okaleczył i doprowadził do trwałej utraty zdrowia. Codziennie odbiera życie i przyszłość ofiarom swoich zbrodniczych, zaplanowanych działań. Dzieci są najbardziej narażone na śmierć, kalectwo, głód, choroby i traumy psychiczne. Wyburzone szkoły odbierają szanse na edukację i przyszłość.
Obecnie ma miejsce kolejna ofensywa w Strefie Gazy. Nie ma miejsc bezpiecznych. Pozostanie oznacza śmierć, pójście dalej oznacza śmierć. Izrael będzie starał się zabić jak największą liczbę Palestyńczyków, a resztę wypchnąć poza granice Strefy Gazy. Ogłosił jej trwałą okupację, a milionowe miasto Gaza w każdej chwili może spodziewać się pełnoskalowego ataku.
14 września spotykamy się na Placu Zamkowym, aby wspólnie przeczytać imiona pomordowanych dzieci. Nie jesteśmy liczbami, statystykami. Wszyscy mamy imiona, nazwiska, życie, marzenia. Chcemy, aby imiona małych Palestyńczyków głośno wybrzmiały. W ten sposób pragniemy oddać im hołd i pamięć.

For 22 months, Israel has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip. More than 80 percent of the victims are civilians, the majority of them women and children. The true number of those killed is difficult to determine. Over 60,000 have been counted and recorded by name, but some estimates point to as many as 400,000.
Israel has murdered nearly 19,000 children, while thousands more have been mutilated and left with permanent injuries. Every day it takes lives and futures through its criminal, deliberate actions. Children are the most vulnerable to death, disability, hunger, disease, and psychological trauma. The destruction of schools robs them of education and any chance for the future.
Another offensive is currently taking place in the Gaza Strip. There are no safe places. To stay means death, to move further means death. Israel seeks to K*ll as many Palestinians as possible, and to force the rest beyond the borders of Gaza. It proclaims its permanent occupation, while the city of Gaza—with its population of about a million people —faces the threat of a full-scale assault at any moment.
On September 14, we will gather at Castle Square to read aloud the names of the murdered children. We are not numbers or statistics. We all have names, lives, and dreams. We want the names of the Palestinian children to be heard loudly. In this way, we wish to honor and remember them.
