Project Connect is a free, one-day event designed to connect community members with essential health services, support programs and critical resources. Hosted by Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare with over 50 vendors will be on site! Project Connect aims to break down barriers to care by offering a wide range of services in one convenient location, including dental screenings and extractions, haircuts, health and mental health screenings, food stamp assistance, free legal aid, Medicaid enrollment and renewals, substance use disorder information, veterans’ services, vouchers for driver’s licenses, birth and death certificates, workforce development resources, unemployment services and more. Project Connect allows individuals and families to access multiple services in one place — at no cost, with no appointments and no insurance required.
A free lunch will be provided to all attendees from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
