Maok to słowacki muzyk, improwizator, kompozytor filmowy i multiinstrumentalista. Skomponował swoje pierwsze utwory w wieku piętnastu lat. Oprócz pracy nad muzyką filmową Maok poświęca swój czas na koncertowanie, organizowanie seminariów muzycznych oraz współpracę z innymi muzykami i artystami z różnych dziedzin artystycznych, takich jak teatr (Zuna, Argolla), pantomima, fotografia, medytacja, sztuki wizualne i poezja.

Jego twórczość obejmuje nie tylko kompozycje filmowe, ale także autorskie koncerty, podczas których improwizacja odgrywa kluczową rolę. Some sounds touch the soul and make time stand still. Maok’s music is just that – subtle, moving, like the whisper of the wind on mountain peaks, like the echo of dreams carried in melodies.
In the extraordinary acoustics of the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio, where every note tells a story, Maok will open a world where music is not just sound – it is breath, memory, and a moment that lingers.

Maok is a Slovak musician, improviser, film composer, and multi-instrumentalist. He composed his first pieces at the age of fifteen. In addition to working on film music, Maok devotes his time to performing live concerts, organizing music workshops, and collaborating with other musicians and artists from various artistic fields, such as theater (Zuna, Argolla), pantomime, photography, meditation, visual arts, and poetry.

Maok is a musical explorer, constantly pushing the boundaries of sound and composition. His work extends beyond film scores to deeply personal live performances, where improvisation takes center stage. His music weaves together ethnic influences, meditative soundscapes, and delicate, hypnotic melodies, creating an experience that feels both timeless and deeply immersive.
