✨ To wydarzenie towarzyszące 200-leciu Politechniki Warszawskiej - wyjątkowa okazja, by łączyć debatę branżową z jubileuszem naszej Alma Mater.
🌐 W świecie, w którym dane przestrzenne zbierane są niemal nieustannie - przez geodetów w terenie, satelity obserwacyjne, samoloty fotogrametryczne, drony czy skanery laserowe - rodzi się pytanie: czy to jeszcze narzędzie rozwoju, czy już inwigilacja?
Podczas debaty porozmawiamy o:
* ogromie danych geoinformacyjnych i metodach ich przetwarzania z użyciem sztucznej inteligencji,
* praktycznych zastosowaniach - od planowania infrastruktury, przez smart cities i zarządzanie kryzysowe, po działania policji i wywiadu geoprzestrzennego,
* roli absolwentów WGIK w tych procesach, atrakcyjności zawodu geodety i jego przyszłości.

“Big Brother's surveying eye. Universal surveillance or the foundation for the development of the state and the economy?”

✨ This event accompanies the 200th anniversary of the Warsaw University of Technology - a unique opportunity to combine an industry debate with the jubilee of our Alma Mater.
🌐 In a world where spatial data is collected almost constantly - by surveyors in the field, observation satellites, photogrammetric aircraft, drones, and laser scanners - the question arises: is it still a tool for development, or is it already surveillance?
During the debate, we will discuss:
* the vast amount of geoinformation data and methods of processing it using artificial intelligence,
* practical applications - from infrastructure planning, through smart cities and crisis management, to police and geospatial intelligence activities,
* the role of WGIK graduates in these processes, the attractiveness of the surveyor profession, and its future.
💡 This is a unique opportunity to look at surveying from a technical, social, and ethical perspective, in the context of the role of universities and graduates in shaping the future of the country.
