Hey, Warrenton! Fauquier Habitat for Humanity is once again teaming up with local restaurant Foster's Grille for a "Dining 4 Dollars" Day... only this time, it's for the whole weekend! That's right: that means TRIPLE the chances to come out and support your friendly neighborhood affordable housing developers!
WHAT THAT MEANS:
All weekend long, anyone who *MENTIONS* "Fauquier Habitat for Humanity" when they order at Foster's means Fauquier Habitat will get 20% of the proceeds from that order. There is no limit on number of orders and you don't need to present a flyer for the giveback % to be applied.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
To join the fun and help us raise funds for our affordable homeownership program, please visit Foster's Grille, bring your friends, drop our name at the register, eat tasty food... and then come hang out with us! IS THERE STUFF FOR VEGETARIANS/PEOPLE WITH DIETARY RESTRICTIONS/KIDS/PICKY EATERS AT FOSTER'S?
Yes! Foster's offers a whole lot more than burgers (although they were voted "Best of Virginia" in 2023 and 2024 by Virginia Living, so there's that!). Check out the sides, shakes, salads, chicken, and more for those who aren't burger-inclined. :)
WHAT FAUQUIER HABITAT DOES:
Fauquier Habitat partners with families in need of decent, energy-efficient, and affordable starter homes in Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties. We build high-quality homes and sell them at affordable prices. The families with whom we partner then pay an affordable mortgage for their home. Right now, we are building 13 affordable homes on Haiti Street in Warrenton, VA.
We also conduct home preservation/repairs and oversee ReStore operations (where we teach classes on basic home skills like rewiring lamps, chalk painting, and fixing electrical outlets).
