Event Description: Join us for a powerful screening of PTSD 911, a documentary that sheds light on the mental health struggles of first responders. This event is an opportunity to bring together first responder agencies, government officials, and mental health professionals to foster meaningful conversations and drive actionable change.
Attendees will gain insight into the challenges faced by frontline workers, hear from experts in the field, and connect with resources that support mental wellness. The event will include a film screening, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and resource tables to equip agencies and leaders with strategies to better support their teams.
Location: Macomb Community College, South Campus, K building.
Target Audience: Includes inviting attendees from Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, and Wayne Counties to include:
First Responder Agencies & Frontline Workers: Fire, EMS, law enforcement, 911 dispatch, and corrections agency Chiefs/CEOs, training officers, Peer Support Team members, and frontline workers. first responder students and cadets from each discipline across Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, and Wayne counties will also be invited.
Municipal Government Officials & Decision-Makers: Mayors, city managers, and county executives.
State Government Officials:
The lead state representative from each of the five frontline disciplines.
