On Sunday, September 28th join us for a community paddle and float along the St. George River in Warren! Fuel up before the float at the delicious and scenic St. George Pizza in Warren town center. Proceeds from your lunch will benefit the land trust and our work to conserve land within the St. George River watershed.
11am-3pm Visit St. George Pizza in Warren for pizza, salads, and ice cream with partial proceeds supporting the land trust's work to conserve and care for the watershed! Be sure to say hi to land trust staff at our table. We would love to learn about your favorite spots along the river and what you envision for the future of our paddling trail. We are currently working on a new canoe trail map, so come give us some feedback or learn what our river trail is all about!
3:30pm-5:00pm Bring your canoe, kayak, or paddle board for a group paddle and leisurely float along the St. George River! Parking and river access is available at Riverside Dr in Warren. We will paddle along this wide section of the river and enjoy the views, early signs of fall foliage, and community time!
Paddlers should bring their own personal flotation device. All paddlers are required to have one accessible to them on the water by Maine law. Children under 10 must wear a PFD at all times while on the water.
St. George Pizza is located at 310 Main St. in Warren. No reservations are needed! Come on in and enjoy their beautiful spot along the river. Outdoor seating (pet friendly!) is available on their patio.
