UFO Walk

It started as a Sinister Sound.....

On Christmas Day in 1964, Marjorie Bye of Bradley Road, was on her way to communion at Christchurch when 'the air was filled with a strange menacing sound.....the shockwaves of vibration pinned her against the church wall'

In the 60’s and 70’s, Warminster became renowned world-wide as a UFO hotspot. This walk will take us to the locations of the most frequent sightings, where we’ll hear some of the witnesses’ experiences.

What was The Warminster Thing?

This is a walk that has reacquainted me with this unique piece of Warminster's history: I've lived on Bradley Road for 25 years, I know all the locations intimately .....once walked I can guarantee you will see the landscape differently...
