This course, designed for real estate professionals, covers the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® (PAR) Residential Lease and rental-related PAR standard forms.
The course will examine the terms of the most current version of this important contract and related forms. As well, the course will review relevant portions of the Pennsylvania Landlord and Tenant Act.
Course Objectives:
Identify the required parts of an enforceable Pennsylvania residential lease;
Understand the best practices for the proper use of the residential lease plus ancillary disclosures and forms;
Understand the responsibilities of the real estate professional representing residential tenants and landlords as stated in the lease, as well as Pennsylvania statutes and regulations.
Understand the requirements to list a property for rental, and to provide property management services to landlords.
This course is approved for 3.5 Hours RECE (RECE004211) for those licensed prior to 12/1/23.
