Judy and Robin's 250th parkrun

This Saturday 30th August is a special run for 2 of our core team members.

After running their first parkrun at Albert Melbourne parkrun on the 4th February 2012, some clever planning means that Judy and Robin-Mark Schols will both be running their 250th parkrun!

Both have more than 200 volunteers to their name as well. They started volunteering at Southwick Country parkrun where Judy then became a Run Director, and Robin-Mark became an RD at The Old Showfield parkrun before they both got involved here at Thoulstone.

As well as Australia, their parkrunning journey has taken them across Great Britain but also to Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands and the USA. Robin-Mark has earned a few #1 tokens as a first finisher, they have met the man who started our parkrun obsession and they even did a parkrun on their wedding day!

To celebrate with them, we invite everyone to wear their favourite colours of orange and purple whether you're running, walking or volunteering. 🧡💜
