Leaders often rely solely on skill or intellect to lead but lack the ability to suffer the hard times or being disliked through the tough decisions that are done for the right reasons. Grit is being able to persevere in hard times and come back better for the proverbial bruising. Good leaders make it look easy and bad leaders take good employees down with them.
