Getting to Know Your Local NJ Bats
Discover the fascinating world of New Jersey's native bats. In this program, you will get to know the neighbors you probably don’t notice - bats! Dr. Melissa De Waal, Assistant Professor, Fairleigh Dickinson University, will present an informative and fun program talking about the roles bats play in northeastern forests, aspects of their lifestyle and habits, threats facing them, and ways you can get involved to support their conservation efforts. Perfect for nature enthusiasts and anyone curious about wildlife. Admission $5.00 per person. Presented by the Heritage and Agriculture Association, Inc., in cooperation with the NJ DEP/Division of Parks and Forestry.
