🌳 Join us for an Ancient & Veteran Trees Walk! 🌳

Discover some of the most remarkable trees between Grove and Ardington Marsh Lock on this guided circular walk hosted by Sustainable Wantage. Whether you love nature, like being outdoors, or want to meet friendly people, this event is for you!

📍 What to expect:

A guided walk of around 6 miles, exploring beautiful countryside paths and the old canal route.

Learn about what makes a tree ancient or veteran — and why these magnificent trees are so important for wildlife and our landscape.

Plenty of chances to spot local wildlife and enjoy the sounds and sights of the natural world.

👣 Bring your sense of adventure! Be prepared for uneven ground, stiles, and some muddy sections.

🤝 This is a great chance to get outside and learn something new about the nature and history on our doorstep.
