Final Session - Session 3!
New events coming up for 2026! We're hosting sewing and crafting sessions for those wanting to upgrade their costumes or create something tailored to themselves!
All ages and skill levels welcome! (Parents with kids under 10 must stay to supervise pointy objects!)
Want to know how to sew on a button? What about hemming pants? Creating horns or a cape? Lets go!
Learn how to sew, tailor, craft, and create accessories for your next costume or event, or even fixing your own clothes! Start from scratch, bring in a work in progress, or even tailor something existing to better suit you.
This event will be spread across 3 sessions, with options to attend one as a stand-alone, or attend all 3!
Session 1 - Costume sewing with machines
Session 2 - Leatherwork and hand sewing
Session 3 - Costume accessories (Horns, hats, and belts)
What's provided:
- Instructors to assist learning where needed
- Access to sewing machines and overlockers
- Various fabrics and haberdashery
- All tools needed for leatherwork
- All tools needed to make costume horns
- Light snacks
- Costume patterns
- Earmuffs (on request)
What to bring (optional):
- Personal sewing machine (If you want to learn your own)
- Any specialized fabrics or costumes
- Personal clothing in need of alteration/repair
- Preferred snacks
- Headphones/loops to help with sewing machine sounds
Please RSVP to the event so we know who's attending for catering and space needed. If there's a large number interested, we'll shift locations and run extra days to accommodate everyone!
