Guest Speaker: Matt has a background in the selection process for plants to be listed as Weeds of National Significance.
Our group has, in recent years, become increasingly interested in Biological Control of Invasive Weeds, some declared Noxious in Victoria others Significant at National level and still others simply negatively impactive environmentally or in Agriculture..

One such plant that has taken considerable attention locally is Caltrop owing to its mechanical and injurious impacts together with its ability to spread and further colonise.
