Cycling Whanganui in association with the Whanganui Mountain Bike Club presents the inaugural Whanganui Pave & Gravel Fun Ride.

Course Details:
Approx 75km & 1340m elevation
Approx 70% unpaved roads

Social Riders – 8am start (expected to take up to 5 1/2 hours)
E-Bikes – 9am start (you can ride with the social riders if desired)
Experienced Riders – 10am Start (up to 3 1/2 hours)

All grades – $40

First wave starts at 8am
Final wave starts at 10am
Expected last riders finish approx 1.30pm

Event Day Information:
Start is opposite the Top 10 Campground located at 460 Somme Parade Aramoho Whanganui Street
Plenty of parking is available both on street and off street on the Top 10 field
The fun ride finishes at the Brunswick hall located on the corner of Brunswick Road and Campbell Road
Cancellation Information:
If the weather makes it unsafe to ride, a decision to cancel will be made by 6.00pm on Saturday 6th December on our Facebook Page.
Health & Safety
This is an unsupported ride and riders are expected to be self sufficient (carry everything you need) and have a suitable level of fitness to complete the ride in 5 1/2 hours.
The fun ride takes place on open roads.
There will be signage on the course but the ultimate responsibility is with the rider to know the course.
There will be a sweep vehicle on the course.
Toilets are available at the start and toilets and refreshments will be available at the Brunswick hall.
