Stream testing/Fish monitoring workshop
Date/time: 12 October 2025, 10am
Location: Pīwaiwaka Farm, 673 Papaiti Rd, Whanganui
Arrival details: Keep an eye out for signs for The Learning Environment on the left as you drive up Papaiti Rd, drive up the driveway and keep left at the fork, keep driving until you come to the plant nursery/apple orchard where you'll find carparks. There'll be KCC signs to guide you.
Itinerary:
10:00am Arrive and settle in
10:15am Stream testing workshop with Kat
11:15am Free play with suggested activities
12:30pm Event finish
Bring: Waterproof footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, water bottles, snacks, koha for the facilitators (The Learning Environment)
This event is appropriate for kids aged 3 - 13, and should be pretty interesting for the adults too! KCC members as well as non-members are welcome to join.
