Multicultural Marae Visit

Experience Māori customs in a marae setting with kōrero (conversation) and cultural exchange. A family-friendly, multicultural experience not to be missed.

If you are a migrant to New Zealand and/or you've never been to a marae or experienced a Māori pōwhiri (welcome) we encourage you to join us for this rich experience.

All participants need to arrive at the marae by 2pm sharp for a debrief on our pōwhiri.

Afternoon tea included.

Attendance is FREE, but registration is essential to secure your place as places are limited. Please do not turn up if you haven't booked.

Please note, we will be holding a Multicultural Dinner afterwards in the same location 6-8pm. Participants are welcome to stay on for the dinner if you wish, please state in your message.
