Our Royal Whanganui Opera House production of Les Misérables for 2026 kicks into action with an information evening on 27 June 2025 starting 6:30pm at Amdram Theatre.

We believe in challenging the limits of community theatre. We refuse to settle for the ordinary—we believe in innovation, in the relentless pursuit of new ways to bring a production to life.

We believe that theatre is more than a stage; it’s the heart of a community, the space where people come together with shared purpose. Commitment, focus, hard work, and fun—these are the elements that not only shape great productions but also strengthen the bonds between us.

There will be an opportunity to hear about our plans, audition process, character backgrounds and time to book your audition spot (19th & 20th July).
