Interactive workshop: Tukutuku Creation Workshop (Session 1)

Part of ‘Pae Kuaka – A knowledge conference converging art & science’.

Guided by Ta Piri o Te Rangi Pirikahu, we are creating a tukutuku panel as part of our connection to Alaska through the Kuaka – the bar-tailed godwit. Tukutuku is a woven panel found within communal houses as part tribal histories, often conveying connections to the natural world and beyond.

Cost: Free, all welcome. Materials provided. Limited numbers.
