Sourdough Bread Making Workshop

Did you miss our last sourdough class? Here’s your chance to join instructor Martha Ma on Wednesday, December 10, from 6:00–7:30 PM for a repeat of this popular hands-on workshop. Participants will learn how to use and care for a sourdough starter and will practice each step of making a small loaf of bread — from measuring and mixing to fermentation, shaping, proofing, scoring, and baking.

This session is designed for beginners who have not attended our other workshops. Please note that this class repeats the same material and does not include new or advanced instruction. Participants should bring an apron, small hand towel, mixing bowl, and a small lidded jar for taking home starter.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required by calling the library at 607-865-5929.
