We would be honored to have you as our guest for this very special day at Sycamore Baptist Church. Whether you’ve been curious about visiting, are looking for a church home, or simply want to see what we’re all about, Friend Day is the perfect time to come.
What Is Friend Day?
Friend Day is like an open house for our church—a special service designed to introduce you and your family to the heart of Sycamore Baptist Church. You’ll experience uplifting music, friendly faces, and a message from God’s Word that speaks to the heart.
What Should I Expect?
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by people who are genuinely glad you came. Friendly greeters will help you feel right at home and answer any questions you might have.
We’ll begin the service with prayer, followed by inspiring music from the Sycamore Choir. The highlight of our service is always the preaching—Pastor Jon Ensley will share a heartfelt and powerful message from the Bible that will encourage and challenge you.
What About My Kids?
We want your children to have a great experience too!
Nursery: Available for children under 4 years old.
Children’s Class: For ages 5–10, with fun, engaging Bible lessons.
All children’s workers are loving, fully background-checked, and trained. If you’d prefer to keep your kids with you during the service, that’s completely fine too!
What Should I Wear?
Come as you are! Our pastor preaches in a suit and tie, and many ladies choose to wear skirts or dresses—but there’s no dress code. We simply want you to feel welcome.
The Schedule for the Day:
11:00 AM – Main Service
12:15 PM – Lunch (prepared especially for our guests!)
2:00 PM – Afternoon Service with special guest preacher, Evangelist Tyler Robertson
We can’t wait to meet you and make you feel like part of the family. Friend Day is all about showing you the love of Christ in a welcoming, uplifting atmosphere—so come ready to enjoy a wonderful day together!
