Acclaimed guitarist Chris ‘Santo’ Cobbson is one of the most exciting and in-demand musicians in the country. He studied Jazz guitar at Goldsmiths College and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
His incredible versatility has enabled him to perform with Osibisa, Courtney Pine, The JBs (Maceo Parker, Pee Wee Ellis, Fred Wesley), Monty Alexander, Andy Sheppard, Clifford Jarvis, Jean Toussaint, the Ronnie Scott’s Big Band, Sheila Ferguson, S. E. Rogie, Gasper Lawal, Dick Heckstall-Smith, Jim Mullen, Ray Gelato, David Newton, Omar, Curtis Stigers, Imelda May, the Ebony Steel Band, Jay Rayner, and many other artists across a wide range of musical genres.
He is also a prolific songwriter and arranger. This concert will feature a selection of original songs written by Chris.
