Wirral is steeped in tradition and folklore. For generations, Storytellers have passed down tales of Ghosts, Witches, Smugglers, Secret Tunnels, Poldies (fairies) and epic sagas. From mystical stories of Witches to Mother Redcaps and her Smugglers, Children going to Bidston Hill or Liscard Vale woods were told to come home before dark, because that was when the Poldies came out. Hear of the Bidston Hill Witches, the Norse Carvings, The Mystery of Thor’s Rock. The Mersey Mermaid, The Narnia Lamp of St Andrew’s, The Pirate Graves, The Submerged Forest, The Lost Church ne’er the Sea and so much more...
Our Historian & Author will bring these stories to life on an exclusive Talk of Authentic Truths, Light Comedy and Deadly Tales connected to The Wirral Peninsula
