After eleven months of the ‘phoney’ war, Wallasey had its first air raid on August 10th, 1940, It was just a taste of what was to come. Over 500 alerts followed between then and January, 1942. In addition to 340 townspeople killed, 275 were seriously injured.
You will Learn all the Historic Locations and History of Wartime in the Seaside Resort on an adventure back in time.
