Yin yoga is a slow-paced, meditative style of yoga that focuses on holding passive floor poses for extended periods—typically 3 to 5 minutes—to target the deep connective tissues, such as ligaments, joints, and fascia. Unlike more dynamic yoga styles, yin encourages stillness and inner awareness, helping to improve flexibility, circulation, and emotional balance. It’s often used as a complementary practice to more active forms of exercise or to promote relaxation and mindfulness.
Yoga Nidra, often called "yogic sleep," is a deeply restorative guided meditation practice that brings the body into a state of conscious relaxation. Practiced lying down, it guides you through body awareness, breath, and visualizations to access a state between wakefulness and sleep. This deeply restful state helps reduce stress, improve sleep, and support emotional healing, making it a powerful tool for mental and physical well-being.
Booking is essential, please bring your own mat and blankets and any props that you might have, water and loose, layered clothing.
6-7pm. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class.
