Join us for this thrilling and unforgettable event called The Infamous Hanging in the Queen's Bush. This event starts at 2 pm at St. Paul's United Church in Walkerton, Ontario. Get ready to be transported back in time, where justice was served with the tightening of a noose.

This immersive experience will include actors who portray real-life characters of long ago. Feel the anticipation as a verdict is brought forth and a man by the name of John Haag is sentenced to hang at the Walkerton J*il for the vicious M**der of a childhood friend. This true story shook the small, rural communities of south Bruce County as law enforcement officials searched high and low for the infamous killer.

This tour starts in Walkerton and includes visits to historical buildings, including older churches (e.g., the famous Immaculate Conception Church in Formosa where the M**der victim now rests), as well as beer and wine tasting at Harley's Pub and Perk, (built in 1872, which is still in operation today). This event will also include a visit to the Walkerton J*il where the infamous hanging occurred (or did it)?

This event includes bus transportation (during the tour), visits to historic buildings, beer and wine tasting, guided tours of the Walkerton J*il, the churches and other buildings, the talented actors who help bring history alive, and a full-course Bruce County church supper to finish the day!
