Reid Homestead is hosting monthly volunteer days where we ask for your help on a farm project. We will, of course, provide you with a delicious meal after the work day is over, and if we have farm goodies available, we may send you home with some!
Our September projects include:
-clearing an existing wire fence line in our forest to extend our area for our goat herd
-weeding the pollinator garden & medicine wheel
-cutting down the jungle in the chicken yard
Here's what you'll need to bring:
-water bottle
-forest appropriate clothing / gloves (there is poison ivy if you're working on the fence line with us)
-any tools you may have to cut limbs, vines, and small trees
