Waldport to Newport
Where the Sand Meets the Soul

Join us for a free, 16-mile coastal group run from Waldport to Newport — hosted by Team Ardor but open to all. This isn't a race. It’s a point-to-point adventure run that captures everything we love about the Oregon Coast: wide beaches, ocean mist, and good company.
We’ll start at Waldport Heritage Museum and run ~16 miles to The Wilds Taphouse & BBQ in Newport. The route is mostly beach, with about 1 mile along Hwy 101. Expect sea foam, soft sand, and maybe a seal sighting or two.

Want the full route? Meet us in Waldport. Prefer a shorter distance? Join in at any point along the course. We’ll provide a map with suggested jump-in spots.
Goal finish time: Between 12:30–1:00 PM at The Wilds, where we’ll celebrate with well-earned food and drinks.

If you’re not running but want to be part of the day, we’d love a volunteer to shuttle runners to the start. Let us know if you're in.
This is one of our favorite traditions, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
