This is the 17th annual Walter Ackerson Jr. Hands Across the Bridge for Recovery and Wellbriety Month on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in Waldport. It is a powerful gathering to recognize those in recovery from mental health and substance use challenges.
Meet at the South end of the Alsea Bay Bridge at 11:30am to learn about the Bridge Crossing and participate in holding hands across the bridge. location: 265 NW Hemlock St., Waldport, OR 97394
Then enjoy a free lunch, listen to speakers, explore resource tables, and bring the kids for teen led activities at the Waldport Community Center between 12:30pm - 2:30pm. location: 320 Oregon Coast Highway, Waldport, OR 97394.
